When we look at the blood through a microscope we can tell many things.
"Live blood analysis can reveal distortion of red blood cells which reflect nutrition status, especially low levels of iron, protein, vitamin B12, folic acid and fatty acids. Incomplete or delayed digestion of fats and proteins can also be observed. In addition, liver stress and undesirable bacterial and fungal by-products may be revealed."
I provided this amazing article by my mentors, to help answer questions and give a deeper insight as to what Live Cell Analysis is all about. Check it out here!
What can you expect during your assessment?
This is NOT a scary process, I promise.
A simple prick to the finger to produce a drop of blood for my slide. That slide goes under the microscope and we see your blood. Right then and there.
From there I explain what I am seeing and will provide recommendations (in conjunction with the nutritional assessment) and resources for you to take home that day.
This will be followed by a full nutritional, lifestyle and supplemental protocol recommendation within a week.
The difference between Nutritional Solutions and other practitioners?
The look of your blood can tell a lot about you!
We offer a look at a dry blood screening or oxidative stress test as well.
This not only helps to determine where in the body an issue may be happening but also for how long!
Nutri-Body Assessment and Live Blood Analysis A match made in heaven!
The nutritional assessment, that I have you fill out prior to our meeting will give me a concise and thorough look at your life, your symptoms, your habits, ailments, and all the little things that you wouldn't normally think to tell me about.
For example, did you know, that the effects of low essential fatty acids can include, dry, rough, scaly skin eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis diaper rash dry, brittle hair, split ends,“dry eye” syndrome—the inability to create tears, brittle, cracked nails, inflammatory conditions, hyperactivity in children and disorders of the nervous system, female disorders such as menopause, and PMS, and cystic mastitis (breast lumps), difficulty getting pregnant or carrying to full term, low male hormones and prostate problems, disorders of the endocrine system, auto-immune dysfunctions. An under-functioning liver/gall bladder will interfere with the absorption of essential fatty acids and with the metabolism of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E and K. This alone could lead to so many other (related) symptoms. Impaired wound healing, restlessness and sleeplessness, weight gain, inability to cope with stress. The possibilities are as unique and individual as you are.
The questions in the assessment may seems trivial and nothing to do with what your real issues are, but believe me, they are all inter-related. *LBA & DBA are not diagnostic methods in any form for disease. It is simply an assessment tool to show where imbalances are in the body due to improper nutrition, stress, and lifestyle choices.

Find the source of the problem and treat the source, not the symptom.
Many practitioners with good intentions have a tendency to recommend a lot of supplementation without addressing the underlying causes. For example, glucosamine is often recommended for arthritic-type problems. When the individual stops taking the glucosamine the symptom returns. There are other underlying issues related to the joints that aren’t being addressed with this approach. This is no more useful than the allopathic approach of prescribing pills that band aid the problems. Excesses of the wrong nutrients can create more imbalances in the end. Underlying causes generally are: diet, emotions, radiation, chemicals, pH imbalance and parasitic/bacterial foci of infection.
It is more important to know the person who has the condition than it is to know the condition the person has. – Hippocrates
