Live & Dry Blood Analysis

What is Live & Dry Blood Analysis?

Live & Dry Blood Analysis (LDBA) is a holistic health assessment that looks at a small drop of your blood under a high-powered microscope. By observing the condition of the blood cells and surrounding plasma, we can gain insight into how the body is functioning and where imbalances may be developing.

Rather than diagnosing disease, this approach provides a functional snapshot of your internal environment, helping to identify patterns that may be influencing your energy, digestion, metabolism, and overall vitality.

These insights can help guide practical steps in nutrition, lifestyle, and further testing when appropriate.

Live Blood Analysis

During Live Blood Analysis (also called Live Blood Microscopy), a tiny drop of fresh capillary blood is placed on a slide and viewed immediately under a microscope at approximately 1000× magnification.

Because the blood is viewed in its natural, living state (not dried, stained, or chemically treated), we are able to observe:

• the shape and condition of red and white blood cells
• how blood cells move and interact
• the quality of the surrounding plasma
• patterns that may suggest nutritional or metabolic stress

Clients are able to see their blood live on a monitor, making the session both educational and interactive.

Dry Blood Analysis

In Dry Blood Analysis (sometimes referred to as Dried Blood Layer Analysis or Oxidative Stress Testing), 8 drops of blood is allowed to clot and dry on a slide.

As the blood dries, it forms distinct patterns that can reflect deeper physiological stressors such as oxidative stress, mineral imbalance, or toxicity and bring a greater awareness to the area of the body the inflammation may be occurring.

Together, the live and dry views provide a broader picture of the body’s internal environment.

What This Assessment May Reveal

Live & Dry Blood Analysis can help highlight patterns related to:

  • digestive and gut health

  • hydration status

  • mineral and nutritional imbalances

  • oxidative stress and inflammation

  • liver and detoxification stress

  • circulatory efficiency and tissue oxygenation

  • immune system activity

  • cellular fatigue and metabolic stress

  • lymphatic congestion

  • fungal and parasitic activity

These observations help guide personalized recommendations around nutrition, lifestyle support, and, when appropriate, further functional testing.

The goal is to provide insight and direction so you can make informed choices that support long-term health and resilience.

Live & Dry Blood Sessions

Live Blood Analysis can be helpful whether you are exploring your health for the first time or checking in to see how your body has changed since your last session. New client appointments provide a comprehensive look at the current state of your blood, while recheck sessions allow us to compare patterns over time and evaluate how nutrition and lifestyle changes may be influencing your health.

What to Expect During Your Session

A Live Blood Analysis session is both educational and interactive. You’ll be able to see your blood on a monitor in real time while we explore what the patterns may be telling us about your body.

Your appointment includes:

1. Sample Collection
A small drop of blood is taken from your fingertip and placed on a microscope slide.

2. Live Blood Observation
The sample is viewed immediately under a high-powered microscope (approximately 1000× magnification). The image is projected onto a screen so you can observe the blood cells and plasma as we discuss what we’re seeing.

3. Dry Blood Analysis
A second drop of blood is allowed to dry on a slide. As it dries, patterns form that may reflect deeper physiological stress such as oxidative stress, mineral imbalance, or toxicity.

4. Discussion and Interpretation
We review what the patterns may indicate in relation to hydration, digestion, nutrient status, stress, and overall metabolic balance.

5. Next Steps
Based on what we observe, practical next steps which may include nutrition strategies, functional foods, lifestyle adjustments, supplemental recommendations or functional testing if deeper investigation is needed. This will all be done by phone a week later after thorough research and investigation is done. You will be provided with a full report to download.

Both the initial in person session and the Results and Personalized Care session done by phone/video typically lasts about 60 minutes.

Who This Assessment Is For

Live Blood Analysis can be especially helpful for people who feel that something in their body is not quite right, even when conventional testing has not provided clear answers.

Many clients seek this assessment when they are experiencing:

• digestive discomfort or bloating
• fatigue or low energy
• hormone or metabolic changes
• brain fog or difficulty concentrating
• slow recovery or chronic stress
• weight that feels resistant to change
• recurring inflammation or immune challenges
• a general sense that their health has shifted

It is also valuable for those who want to proactively understand and support their health, before small imbalances develop into larger concerns.

Professional Disclaimer

Live & Dry Blood Analysis is a functional assessment that observes patterns within the blood which may reflect nutritional and physiological stress within the body.

This service is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions, and it does not replace medical evaluation or laboratory testing provided by a physician.

Observations are used for educational purposes and to help guide nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, and further functional testing when appropriate.
