I know what you're thinking. I'm going to go in for my assessment and "she's going to tell me to take a gazillion pills that will cost a fortune."

​Well you may be half right, but hear me out first. I have very strong opinions and rationale for when it comes to supplementation. 
  1. Are you already eating an optimal, whole foods, organic diet? Truthfully, if you were, you wouldn't have to come see me.  
  2. Do you know where your food gets its nutrients? Mostly from the earth, unless its chemically added from man-made sources. The earth, unfortunately is sadly lacking in the nutrients it once was. When plants are repeatedly grown on the same land, the soil loses vitamins, minerals, and microbes faster than they can be replaced. Over time, the plants have fewer nutrients to grow. Fertilizer contains just enough nutrition for the plant to survive until harvesting, but not enough to support human health.
  3. Our water supply is depleted of the wonderful minerals it once had. Most water filters remove important minerals such as magnesium, which is essential for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Up until recently, clean, unfiltered fresh water was the main source of magnesium for humans. Not anymore. Our water is filtered of essential minerals like magnesium, contaminated with chlorine, and fortified with potentially harmful chemicals like fluoride.
  4. Your body needs nutrients to deal with toxins. When more toxins are present, you need more nutrients. If you’re living in a cave or the garden of Eden, this will be less of a concern. If you’re like the rest of us mortals – you’re exposed to a litany of toxins on a daily basis.
  5. As you age, hydrochloric acid and digestive enzyme production naturally declines, making it difficult for you to break down and absorb nutrients from your foods.
  6. If you’re doing enough exercise to substantially deplete energy reserves, you’re also using more nutrients for energy production and recovery.

All that being said, it is ultimately up to you. I do not sell products to you, I only suggest and make recommendations based on your assessments. IF you were take in a clean, organic, whole foods diet, starting the second you left my office I'd say 'great, my job is done. I don't have to worry about that person ever again'. But life happens and so does pizza!

I offer a discounted price on supplements through an online dispensary OR you can buy your own from your favourite health food store. Either option is wonderful.  But, what I do ask from you is to buy the best product your money can afford. No boxstore discounted 5000 tab bottles. Remember, this is  your health! Its the most important thing you have, next to family. Make sure you are providing for yourself the best you can.
